It has already been 6 (!) years since I’ve been in India. I travelled there for 2 months, alone, and 19 years old. Why – I don’t know. Where did the idea come from – I don’t know either. I just remember how I called my dad to buy a plane ticket with his MasterCard. Yes, this was way before I owned my own credit card, DSLR camera, food blog or had any experience with 3rd world countries.
And in all that caos that India offered I decided to write a blog. Which meant to search for “cyber caffee” everyday (do they even exist nowadays?) and upload photos on the slowest internet connection ever. But those cyber caffes weren’t only full of weird people checking out variety of stuff on the internet. They also had very dodgy computers. So one day someone broke in my email account and I couldn’t log in anymore.
So I had to come up with a new name. But since I wasn’t a half grown-up as I am today I didn’t even think of naming my new email adress avsenik.klara@gmail.com. I just typed in first thing that came to my mind.
Curryandlove. Food (and delicious one too) and love.
Is there anything better?
And from that email address my name for old person blog came from and when I decided I want to change the direction of my blog to food blog it stayed. So now curryandlove is me and it represents me very strongly 🙂
