I wanted to prepare a dish that will be quick, healthy and made only from few ingredients – but will still leave you cravings satisfied. So I combined leek and tofu with soy sauce +. honey. So delicious!
For 2-3 people; 10 minutes; Very simple
Ingredients
450 g leek
1 tablespoon of oil
200 g tofu
3 tablespoons of soy sauce (I used the light one)
2 tablespoons of honey
Extra: Basmati rice
Instructions
- Don’t slice the leek! Cut it lengthwise and then to cubes. Set it aside.
- In a pan heat the oil and cubed tofu. Cook it for about 3 minutes. Add the leek and cook for around 3 minutes more.
- Add soy sauce and honey, cook on high temperature for around 3 minutes. Taste – if it needs more of soy sauce or honey add them.
- Serve right away.
Wise-ass corner
Basmati rice is cooked 2:1 (water:rice). Salt the water, cook the rice for around 8 minutes and then set aside and cover it. Let the steam do the rest.
